Some human rights that are blatantly wrong.

A friend of mine, who writes beautifully from the heart posted this just a few weeks ago. Her blog paints a gruesome picture and includes two podcasts that yes really should be listened to for the background to what is one of the most atrocious examples of human rights in the world. Concentration Camps in North Korea. I will not be angry in any way if you say to me now, Never heard of them or Surely not.
I am not a writer in that way, nor do I know enough about these horror stories. What I want to do quite simply is just to educate people in the long term secret horrors that are being carried out daily and have been over a very long period of time in a country that gets its knuckles wrapped by the international community regularly for serious misdemeanors but nobody ever looks behind the scenes at the goings on in the realm of human rights.
Blaine Harden is an American journalist who has caringly told the story of Shin Dong-hyuk in the book Escape from Camp 14. One man's remarkable odyssey from North Korea to freedom in the west.
Also you can buy it here through Amazon. Also for Kindle!
All I ask is that you read and find out what you can about everything that is going on and tell others. Ignorance and apathy are the things that regimes such as the existing one in North Korea thrive on.

Thank you Si, for helping to get the word out and for taking the time to do the listening.

I've ordered the book as well and put the Amazon link on Facebook, it's so frustrating though isn't it because no one comments or even says they'll pass the word on! Except maybe those who aren't as new to all this social media, ie blogging!!
We'll keep plugging away hey?
